Sex Doll Care

Your doll needs regular care to help extend its lifespan and keep the material in good condition. Once you become familiar with the routine, cleaning and maintenance will become much easier.

Your care kit should include:

  • Spray bottle

  • Microfiber towel

  • Baby powder

  • Makeup brush

  • Soft sponge

  • Baby oil (mineral oil/liquid paraffin based)

  • Moisturizing cream

  • Petroleum jelly

When You First Receive Your Doll

The first day with your doll is especially important.

Wash the doll 5–6 times to remove any residue left from the manufacturing process.

Apply mineral oil and allow it to absorb, then apply a light layer of baby powder.

Leave the doll overnight.

The first application of mineral oil and baby powder will help draw out remaining manufacturing residue.

The next day, wash off the powder, apply mineral oil again, allow it to absorb, and apply baby powder once more.

How to Bathe Your Doll

We do not recommend taking the doll directly into the bathroom for washing.

For routine cleaning, you only need a spray bottle, baby powder, a makeup brush, a soft sponge, and a microfiber towel. Place the doll horizontally on a flat, soft surface such as a bed or foam mat.

Cleaning solution:

Mix regular mild hand soap or body wash with water at a ratio of 1:5 in a clean spray bottle.

This can be used as your doll cleaning solution.

Start with the front of the body. Spray the cleaning solution onto the surface and gently wipe the torso, arms, and legs with a soft sponge. Dry the cleaned areas with a microfiber towel, then apply a light layer of baby powder to reduce stickiness and keep the skin smooth.

Cornstarch-based baby powder can be placed in a small container and applied with a makeup brush. Once the front is finished, carefully turn the doll over and repeat the same process on the back.

After washing, some dirt or stubborn residue may remain on the material. Depending on the lighting and skin tone, these marks may not always be easy to see.

Apply a small amount of baby oil to one area at a time and wipe gently in the same direction. Dirt will gradually collect on the surface. Remove it with a microfiber towel and repeat until the area is clean.

Once the entire doll has been cleaned, you may apply another light layer of baby oil and allow it to absorb.

If you plan to oil the doll, always clean the surface first. Residual manufacturing powder can mix with mineral oil and may cause discoloration if absorbed into the material.

How to Care for Your Doll

The genital area and other high-stress areas require additional care.

For TPE dolls, the original care instructions recommend applying a moisturizing cream containing mineral oil, such as NIVEA cream, to the vaginal and groin areas approximately once a week.

Mineral oil helps keep TPE soft and flexible. If the material becomes too dry, it may be more likely to tear or crack.

NIVEA cream may take approximately 6 hours to absorb.

Petroleum jelly and mineral-oil-based moisturizing cream can be used around:

  • Armpits

  • Inner and outer elbows

  • Inner and outer knees

  • Ankles

  • Groin area

  • Skin folds around the thighs

  • Vaginal area

Baby oil containing mineral oil or liquid paraffin can be used on the rest of the TPE body.

Please note that petroleum jelly, moisturizing cream, and baby oil may remove factory-applied or custom makeup from the face, breasts, and genital area.

Avoid these areas where possible. If oil comes into contact with makeup, do not rub the surface.

Monthly Full-Body Moisturizing

For TPE dolls, conditioning the entire body with mineral oil approximately once a month can help keep the material soft.

Before applying oil, remove any baby powder from the surface.

Apply baby oil to the front of the body and allow approximately 2 hours for absorption. Turn the doll over and repeat the process on the back.

Petroleum jelly may be used on high-friction areas such as the armpits, groin, and vaginal area. It may take approximately 12 hours to fully absorb.

Baby oil is generally more suitable for conditioning the entire body because petroleum jelly and some moisturizing creams contain a higher concentration of mineral oil.

Baby oil can also be used with a cotton swab or small towel to remove dark or sticky marks caused by dust or dirt. Apply a small amount and gently wipe the affected area.

This method does not apply to dye stains transferred from unwashed clothing.

Dark clothing can easily transfer color onto the doll. Wash new clothing before use and change the water repeatedly until it runs clear.

Allow the clothing to dry completely before dressing the doll.

Areas such as the vagina, anus, and mouth require extra cleaning after use.

Using Lubricant

For TPE dolls, the original care instructions allow baby oil or petroleum jelly to be used as lubrication.

If you prefer to use a personal lubricant, choose a water-based lubricant and avoid silicone-based lubricants.

If your doll has a removable vaginal insert:

  1. Apply baby oil to the insert.

  2. Apply a small amount of baby oil or petroleum jelly around the opening.

  3. Gently widen the opening with two to four fingers while supporting the surrounding material.

  4. Align the insert with the opening and carefully slide it into place.

  5. Once the insert is positioned, gently remove your fingers.

A clean and dry insert may fit tightly after lubrication. This is normal.

The insert can remain inside the doll if permitted by the manufacturer. Keeping a spare insert is also recommended.

After use, place a tampon inside the vaginal insert before removing it. This helps absorb remaining fluid and reduces leakage.

Remove the insert, wash it thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely.

Fixed Vagina

A fixed or built-in vagina requires more careful cleaning and drying because the cavity cannot be removed.

An aquarium air pump can be used to circulate air through the internal cavity and help it dry thoroughly.

The original care method also recommends using tampons to absorb remaining moisture:

  • One tampon in the mouth

  • Two tampons in the vagina, positioned front and back

  • Two tampons in the anal cavity, positioned front and back

Tampons absorb moisture, leave relatively little lint, and can be removed easily using the pull string.

After use, two tampons may also be placed inside the vaginal or anal cavity to absorb remaining fluids and lubricant.

Leave them in place for approximately 30 minutes, then remove them and continue cleaning.

For sanitizing, the original instructions recommend applying 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to tampons and placing them inside a clean, dry vaginal or anal cavity.

Leave them in place for approximately 30 minutes, then remove them.

This can be done approximately once a week.

Do not use alcohol on TPE. Alcohol can dry out the material and may cause cracking, brittleness, or permanent damage.

Avoid toy cleaners, disinfectant sprays, disinfectant soaps, and other products containing ingredients that may damage TPE.

With regular cleaning and proper maintenance, your doll can remain in good condition for much longer.

Products to Avoid

Alcohol

Avoid rubbing alcohol, diluted alcohol, and products containing high concentrations of alcohol, including:

  • Baby wipes containing alcohol

  • Disinfectant wipes

  • Cleaning sprays

  • Disinfectant soaps

  • Toy cleaners

Alcohol can damage the internal structure of TPE, causing permanent drying, cracking, brittleness, or small structural tears.

If you use perfume, spray it onto clothing or a wig before placing them on the doll.

Never spray perfume directly onto TPE.

Solvents

Avoid strong solvents and solvent-based products, including:

  • Mineral spirits

  • Odorless mineral spirits

  • Paint thinner

  • Nitro thinner

  • Cleaning products containing strong solvents

Some alcohol-free wipes may also contain solvents such as ether or chlorine-based compounds.

Solvents can damage the polymer structure of TPE.

Only use TPE repair solvents specifically supplied or approved by the doll manufacturer, and follow the manufacturer's repair instructions.

Vegetable Oils

Avoid creams, soaps, body washes, or other products containing vegetable oils such as coconut oil or fruit oils.

These oils may coat the surface and affect the normal properties of TPE.

Silicone Oil

Avoid silicone oils and silicone-based lubricants on TPE.

Products containing ingredients such as dimethicone may affect the material over time and can contribute to hardening, cracking, brittleness, or shrinkage.
